I have been playingguitar for like 5 years now... What settings you use are usually derived from the style you are playing...
Im kind of a metal player and the basic amp settings I usually use are Bass around 8, Mid around 5, and treble around 6.. but if you want to drasticly inprove quality of tone and sound I suggest buying a Distortion or Overdrive petal.. this is what usually makes a guitar sound like a giutar lol... any other questions feel free to ask.
